ASTRID POEI is a Canadian writer, communications professional and former journalist.

Her work has appeared in several notable publications including the Toronto Sun, Toronto Star and Reuters wire services.

Currently, she is working on her first book.

She graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in English and Professional Writing and Communications and attended Ryerson University for journalism. She is an avid hockey player, snowboarder, fisherwoman and traveller.
